Building on the landmark success of its inaugural edition, gamescom asia x Thailand Game Show has announced a powerful lineup and a significant expansion of the event footprint as it prepares to return to the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre
Entertainment Area
gamescom asia x Thailand Game Show’s entertainment area will expand to four halls for the first time, bringing the total event space to more than 35,000 sqm. The entertainment area runs from 30 October to 1 November.
On top of hands-on access to new games and hardware launches, the entertainment area will bring fans live stage programming, esports challenges, meet & greets with beloved influencers, a cosplay competition, and the indie area that made its Thailand debut in 2025 to strong audience response.
Business Area
The business area is open exclusively to games industry professionals and media from 29 to 30 October. It will bring together publishers, developers, investors, and service providers from across the globe for networking, partnership building, and learning at the industry conference.
The area will feature:
- An exhibition featuring booths from 19 countries and regions, includingcountry pavilions from Austria, Germany, the Philippines, South Korea, Spain and Thailand.
- A pitch competition spotlighting top indie talent from across the world
- An Invest Circle and VIP Mixer, providing valuable facetime between developers, publishers and investors.
- A Thailand Game Talent Showcase, highlighting games from Thailand’s top student teams.
Business Conference
The business area conference will be headlined by John Romero, co-founder of id Software and the creative force behind Doom, Quake, and Wolfenstein 3D. In his keynote, ‘Why We Still Make Games’, Romero will reflect on the challenges that tested his resolve and the lessons he carried forward.
The conference will also feature over 70 speakers from more than 20 countries, covering topics such as game design, business strategy, and publishing. The lineup features speakers from AdHoc Studio, Tencent, Roblox, Rovio Entertainment, and many more.
gamescom asia x Thailand Game Show will take place at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, Bangkok, Thailand, from 29 October to 1 November 2026.
