On 17 July, The Pokémon Company International launched Mega Evolution—Pitch Black, the latest expansion in the Pokémon Trading Card Game, available now at participating retailers around the world.
In Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution—Pitch Black, a new level of mysterious power rises from the depths of darkness, bringing Mega Darkrai ex and Mega Zeraora ex to the forefront, while Mega Chandelure ex and Mega Excadrill ex blast through with striking force.
Boasting high HP and powerful attacks, these Mega Evolution Pokémon ex offer Trainers new ways to battle and build their decks. In exchange for their strength, these Mega Pokémon give up three Prize cards when Knocked Out.
Trainers can discover and collect cards from the Mega Evolution—Pitch Black expansion through booster packs, Elite Trainer Boxes and various collections at participating retailers worldwide beginning today.
Mega Evolution—Pitch Black is also available digitally via the Pokémon TCG Live app. Upon login, players will be rewarded with a themed deck accessory set as well as a Mega Evolution—Pitch Black Battle Pass deck featuring Mega Darkrai ex. An additional deck featuring Mega Chandelure ex can be unlocked with further play.
