HoYoverse has announced that Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.1, titled “The Long Goodbye,” will launch on July 29, coinciding with the urban fantasy action RPG’s second anniversary.
The major update will introduce two new S-Rank Agents, the game’s first Lumiflux attribute character, a new permanent game mode, anniversary rewards, new outfits and system improvements. Version 3.1 will also mark the launch of the Zenless Zone Zero Xbox PC version, expanding the game’s cross-platform availability.
Players will also be able to claim a free limited S-Rank Agent of their choice and a corresponding exclusive W-Engine, alongside anniversary rewards totaling 1,600 Polychromes and 20 Signal Searches.
Remielle Dan and Sigrid Join the Zenless Zone Zero Roster
Version 3.1 will introduce two new S-Rank Agents:
- Remielle Dan will become the first Agent in Zenless Zone Zero to use the new Lumiflux attribute. Her unique Attribute Flux mechanic allows her damage attribute to synchronize with that of the next Agent in the squad. This system gives players greater flexibility when building teams around enemy weaknesses.

- Sigrid will join as S-Rank Ice Attack Agent during the second half of Version 3.1. Her combat style revolves around the Aerial Patrol Spear Form. When an Unbridled Spear skill hits an enemy, Sigrid can enter this form and hold Basic Attack to launch alternate attacks while receiving a significant CRIT Rate boost.

Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.1 Rerun Banners
Version 3.1 will also feature several returning Agents and a new selection-based rerun system. Aria, an S-Rank Ether Anomaly Agent, will return in the first half; while the second half will introduce the Exclusive Rescreening channel, where players will be able to select from Dialyn, Ukinami Yuzuha and Asaba Harumasa.
Players can similarly choose a rate-up W-Engine through the W-Engine Reverberation channel, and accumulated Signal Search data will carry over for both rerun channels. The update will also introduce the new S-Rank Bangboo Ariel, who will debut her angelic form.
New Permanent Mode: “Enigma of the Labyrinth: Operation Bagel”
Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.1 will add a new permanent game mode called “Enigma of the Labyrinth: Operation Bagel.” Players will explore stages to gather supplies and valuable loot, improve their strength and resources, safely evacuate before the time limit expires, and invest collected supplies into research station infrastructure.
The mode will follow a seasonal update cycle and share weekly progress with Hollow Zero. Each season will offer exclusive rewards.
Zenless Zone Zero Summer Event and New Outfits
The limited-time “Summer Waves Roll In” event will launch alongside Version 3.1 at the Fantasy Resort. Players will join Lucy, Sigrid and Remielle for beachcombing adventures and souvenir shop management.
Version 3.1 will feature five new outfits:
- Vivian: Iris of the Shore
- Sigrid: Majestic Wavechaser
- Remielle: Seashade Pas Seul
- Remielle: Moonlight Whispers, an evening gown outfit with veiled and unveiled forms
- Lucy: Princess on Holiday, available free through the limited-time event
Remielle’s two outfits will also be available together in a bundle offering a 30% discount.

Zenless Zone Zero Second-Anniversary Rewards
To celebrate the game’s second anniversary, all Proxies will be able to select one of five limited S-Rank Agents: Jane, Anby, Hugo, Trigger or Lucia. Pyrois’s latest Mindscape and corresponding W-Engine overclocking materials will also be distributed during the anniversary period.
Version login rewards will provide 1,600 Polychromes, while the second-half check-in event “The Great En-Nah Giveaway!” will grant an additional 10 Encrypted Master Tapes. Together, the anniversary rewards amount to 20 Signal Searches.
Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.1 “The Long Goodbye” launches July 29 on all major gaming platforms, including Xbox PC, where the game will launch for the first time. Pre-registration for Version 3.1 is now available through the official campaign page.
