Publisher Assemble Entertainment and Indonesian developer Antimeta Studio have announced Verde, a charming, nature-inspired city-building game where you transform forgotten magical gardens into thriving green communities.
Players take on the role of Verde, a green-fingered student at the Mage Academy who has recently joined its struggling Gardening Club, and must breathe new life into abandoned settlements. You’ll encounter the lovable Seedlets, enchanted plant-like creatures that call your garden home. Build homes for them, fulfil their needs and provide the right environment, and they’ll happily produce valuable resources that help your settlement grow.
Verde is the debut title from Jakarta-based Antimeta Studio, and evolved from an award-winning competition prototype into a fully-fledged commercial release. The game positions itself as a refreshing alternative to traditional city builders – no stressful micromanagement, just gorgeous greenery all round.
