Demonschool, the school-life tactics RPG with hints of Into the Breach, Shin Megami Tensei, and Italian horror cinema from developer Necrosoft Games and publisher Ysbryd Games (WORLD OF HORROR, VA-11 HALL-A), officially lands on Nintendo Switch 2 and picks up a new assignment later this year with a brand new DLC expansion.
Face off against monsters in 50 new puzzle battles, which challenge the player to solve prescribed combat scenarios in one turn. For their trouble, players will be rewarded with three new techniques to study. Encounter a mysterious antagonist in a never-before-seen side story, featuring a formidable new boss with a puzzling new mechanic.
The upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 version, launching later this year, will feature mouse control, a higher frame rate, improved graphics, and the New Game+ feature that allows players to start a new game with all abilities, opals, credits, relationships, clubhouse styles and upgrades, and fish gained through past playthroughs, including all of the playable characters starting on week 10, allowing players to use characters in battles where they weren’t meant to be.
“This DLC is for the battle and puzzle fiends out there,” said Brandon Sheffield, Creative Director at Necrosoft Games. “Anyone searching for a challenge that will squash your brain into a new shape, look no further.”
Demonschool’s DLC will begin enrollment on all current platforms later this year. Demonschool is currently available on PlayStation 5|4, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, and Windows PC via Steam and Epic Games Store for $24.99 with English, French, Spanish, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese language support.
