Overwatch may have recently teased a potential new hero in the short story The Fall of The Sparrow, which was released in conjunction with the new Overwatch x YOASOBI collaboration. (Mild spoilers ahead if you haven’t read the story yet!)
The Fall of The Sparrow ends with Genji being captured by a shadowy, mechanical female figure, which seems to line up with one of the silhouettes teased by Blizzard in an Overwatch roadmap from earlier this year. Based on the description, she could be a cyborg or an omnic.
But the bigger question is, what role will she play? Judging from her rather elegant appearance, she could be a damage or a support; though with the most recent hero Sierra being a damage, she would most likely be a support. However, maybe that silhouette size is deceptive and she’s actually a tank! Only time will tell.
