HoYoverse has announced that Genshin Impact Version “Luna VI,” titled “Song of the Welkin Moon: Rondo – Augured Homecoming”, will launch on April 8. The update expands the northern region of Mondstadt, introducing new explorable areas that transition from lush flower fields to the busy trading hub of Dornman Port, as well as a new boss, Watcher: Fallen Vigil.
Players will also gain access to the Temple of Space, a mysterious structure suspended high in the sky. The temple contains fragmented realms created by Asmoday, the ruler of sky and space, and features environments inspired by regions such as Liyue and Sumeru. A new gameplay mechanic will allow players to manipulate space within these realms to uncover hidden paths and secrets, while progressing through the temple will reveal more about its enigmatic creator.
New Character

Version “Luna VI” introduces Linnea, a new five-star Geo Bow character from Snezhnaya. Described as a naturalist and advisor to the Adventurers’ Guild, Linnea enhances Lunar-Crystallize team strategies by converting Hydro-based reactions and boosting overall damage. Her abilities include summoning a companion, Lumi, reducing enemy Geo resistance, dealing off-field Geo damage, and providing team-wide healing. In exploration, players can earn badges by discovering rare wildlife and environmental features with her.
The update’s Event Wishes will feature Linnea and the returning character Chasca in the first phase, followed by Nefer and Lauma in the second phase. A new Chronicled Wish event focusing on Fontaine characters will also debut.
Gameplay Updates

In Nod-Krai, players will participate in a trade show hosted by the Voynich Guild, taking part in co-op challenges such as aerial bombardment missions and fast-paced shooting activities. Completing these challenges will allow players to recruit the character Jahoda for free.
Additionally, Miliastra Wonderland will receive quality-of-life improvements, including increased lobby capacity, a new special effects editor, and enhanced customization tools.
Genshin Impact Version Luna VI will be available across PlayStation, Xbox, PC, Android, and iOS platforms upon its release this April 8.
