The Steam Game Awards are an annual community-voted award event for video games published on Steam. Introduced in 2016, games are nominated and users cast their votes during the annual Autumn and Winter holiday sales on the platform.
Unlike most awards shows, the Steam Game Awards also considers games that weren’t released within the year, which allows for a wider range of possible nominees. It also includes some pretty interesting awards categories, including “Labor of Love”, “Better With Friends”, and, of course, “Best Game You Suck At”.
