‘Stories From Sol: The Gun-Dog’ Physical Editions Available Now

Neos Corporation and Astrolabe Games have released physical copies of Stories from Sol: The Gun-Dog for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5, available today across Asia under the new indie game label “IndieTech Games”.

Developed by the UK-based Space Colony Studios, Stories from Sol: The Gun-Dog is a visual novel inspired by retro Japanese adventure games, featuring a deep story, unique characters , and different outcomes depending on the choices you make. The new physical edition will include exclusive bonuses such as acrylic goods, an art book, and a soundtrack download code, all housed in a special sleeve.

Set the year 214 of the Star Calendar, you play as a soldier who lost his comrades in a previous war, now assigned to the JFS “Gundog,” a Jupiter orbital patrol ship. Their mission is to head to the edge of the galaxy to investigate a mysterious distress signal. However, a terrible crisis lurking in the dark sea of stars threatens to assail the group.

The game’s graphics are presented in a retro pixel-art style, with players being able to choose between “Vivid Mode”, “Studio Mode”, and “Doujin Mode?. It supports various languages, including Japanese, English, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Korean, French, German, and Spanish.
