Vocaloid fans in Singapore and Seoul are set for a double celebration later this year with Digital Stars, a club event taking place in conjunction with the Miku Expo Asia Tour. The event will feature performances by local DJs and artists who were inspired by Hatsune Miku and other Internet-based creative cultures.
The Digital Stars project began as a sub-event of the Miku Expo, but has since grown to accompany other events such as Magical Mirai and Snow Miku. The brand has also hosted original events, and even released compilation CDs featuring artists from various parts of the world, with this year’s edition notably featuring a theme song from American producer Jamie Paige.
Digital Stars is also set to take place in Singapore and Seoul for the very first time, with previous overseas events having been held in Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, Taipei, Hong Kong, and Berlin. Details on event dates and ticketing are expected to be revealed in the coming weeks.
