Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. revealed exciting updates for Tekken 8 at EVO 2025, giving fans their first look at some upcoming DLC characters, as well as some new details for the Tekken World Tour Finals.
New Characters
Armor King
Armor King returns to Tekken with a fiery new look, with an arsenal of explosive moves and devastating combos in tow. He’s set to join the roster on October 16, with 72-hour early access for Season 2 Character & Stage Pass and Season 2 Character Pass holders beginning October 13.
Miary Zo
The much-anticipated final DLC character for Season 2 was revealed to be Miary Zo, Tekken 8’s first original DLC character. She will join the roster in Winter 2025, with the Winter DLC also introducing a new stage inspired by her home country of Madagascar. More details on this DLC will be revealed in the coming months.
Tekken World Tour Finals
Towards the end of EVO 2025, Bandai Namco announced a few new details for the 2025 Tekken World Tour Finals. The event will be held in Malmö, Sweden from January 29 – February 1, 2026, with group stages for Global and Regional Leaderboards beginning January 29.
