The SwkGDC Game Jam will be returning for its fourth year, with the 2025 edition being organised in partnership with TEGAS Digital Village, SDEC, MDEC and Playstation Studios Malaysia. The event aims to provide aspiring East Malaysian game designers with hands-on experience, as well as the chance to connect with experienced mentors.
The game jam is scheduled to take place at TEGAS Digital Village in Kuching, Sarawak from 30 August to 1 September. Participants will be sorted into teams and tasked with creating a game prototype in just 48 hours. By signing up, you’ll be provided with free meals, exclusive SwkGDC Game Jam Merchandise, and mentorship from industry experts, as well as the chance to showcase your prototypes at Level Up KL in October.
Registration for the SwkGDC Game Jam is open to everyone, from students, to hobbyists, and even working professionals. Those interested can sign up here anytime from now until 8 August 2025.
