Nickelodeon treated fans to their first look at Avatar: Seven Havens, an upcoming spinoff of Avatar: The Last Airbender, at San Diego Comic-Con on Thursday, July 24. The exciting announcement was made at a panel celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Avatar franchise.
Avatar: Seven Havens is set in a post-apocalyptic world, where Pavi, a young Earthbender, discovers she’s the new Avatar after Korra. The first look image features Pavi and her animal companion Geet, as well as a new character named Jae, who is tasked with mentoring the young Avatar. No release date or further details were revealed for the series, though we do know that it will run for at least 26 episodes.
Aside from the first look at Seven Havens, visitors got to enjoy a table read of selected episodes from the show’s original voice cast, including a rousing sing-along to ‘Secret Tunnel’, led by series composer Jeremy Zuckerman. New 20th anniversary art was also revealed during the event.

Avatar: Seven Havens isn’t the only upcoming Avatar project from Nickelodeon. An animated feature film, The Legend of Aang, is set to be released on October 9, 2026.
