Arrowiz Announce ‘Mato Fragments’, A PC Prequel To ‘Mato Anomalies’

Hong Kong-based developer Arrowiz and Singaporean publisher Soft Source have announced Mato Fragments, a PC title that serves as a prequel to the 2023 turn-based RPG Mato Anomalies.

In Fragments, you play as a photo shop owner who secretly acts as an informant. After harboring a strange fugitive, your skills as an informant will be put to the test, as you soon uncover a growing plot that threatens the city. Trapped in a 5-day time loop, you will need to tread carefully, as one wrong move can send you back to the start of the loop.

Players can enter Detective Mode to observe characters, deduce their true intentions, and trade information wisely to help each character avoid disastrous consequences. Then, leverage your gathered intelligence carefully to create a domino effect that will lead to the salvation of Neo City.

Illustrated beautifully in a unique, stylized art style, Mato Fragments immerses players in a dark, retro-futuristic world filled with traditional and modern Asian elements. Players will explore the stylish metropolis of Neo City, one that is populated by different cultures, timelines and technologies.
