Doraemon: Nobita’s Art World Tales, the 44th Doraemon movie, will make its Malaysian debut this July 17 via GSC Cinemas. The movie’s release will also mark the 45th anniversary of the Doraemon film franchise.
The film follows Doraemon, Nobita and their friends, as they venture into a mysterious forest through a magical painting. There, they meet two children from the medieval European country of Artoria, as well as a tiny demon named Chai. As the group guide the children back to their homeland, they’re attacked by an evil art thief, who unleashes a powerful monster on the kingdom in an attempt to steal a legendary jewel.
While the film will receive a wide release on July 17, dedicated fans will be able to catch a special early screening of the film on July 12. Happening at GSC LaLaport BBCC, the screening will feature exclusive gifts, including a collectible movie ticket set, a sun visor, and a colouring sheet.
