‘Godzilla Minus Zero’ Makes Landfall In Asia This November

TOHO Entertainment Asia has announced that the company will directly distribute the highly anticipated Godzilla Minus Zero in the Philippines on 4 November 2026, in Singapore on November 5, and in Taiwan on November 6. The film will be the first ever Japanese live-action Godzilla movie and the first Japanese film in history to be Filmed For IMAX®.

Written, directed, and with special effects by Takashi Yamazaki, Godzilla Minus Zero is set two years after the events of the award-winning Godzilla Minus One (2023). Main cast members Ryunosuke Kamiki and Minami Hamabe reprise their roles from the previous film, alongside newcomer Min Tanaka.

Godzilla Minus Zero will also open in Thailand, Laos, and Indonesia on November 4, in Malaysia and Brunei on November 5, and in Vietnam on November 6, as well as in the Americas, various locations in Europe, and other parts of the world.

The film has been chosen for the 64th New York Film Festival (NYFF) Spotlight Gala this year, where it will have its world premiere. The annual festival is one of the longest-running and most prestigious celebrations of film, and is slated to run from September 25 to October 12 this year.
