Pan Studio has launched the Paradise Prelude update for its hybrid action RPG, Duet Night Abyss. This update adds new Hydro character, “Ada”, introduces summer outfits, offers new casual gameplay modes, and provides additional improvements for smoother progression.
New Character
Known as the Dreamweaver of Paradise, Duet Night Abyss’s newest character, “Ada”, is a High Priestess with two distinct sets of memories: one of her war-torn hometown, Arcano, and another of an idyllic fantasy paradise.
This duality is reflected in her combat style, which features Summon and Copy abilities. Players can unlock “Ada” through the limited-time Immersive Theatre reward pool, which also offers weapons like the dual pistol, The Best Day. Her exclusive Snowlight Chase outfit is available in the “Nocturne in Whitel” event.
Gameplay Updates
Paradise Prelude celebrates the summer season with new and returning cosmetics. Fushu’s Tidal Repose swimsuit is available for a limited time, while Hilda and Camilla will receive Nightfall Enchantress outfits starting August 18 with the Crimson Mirage event. Players can also obtain the Blade-run Knight skin for the Bi’an mount.
The update also delivers limited-time seasonal activities. Players can experience new story quests in Bloomfield Station: Tales Untold, test their skills in the Great Chaos of Mechapuppets, or participate in the Golden Journey: Geniemon Derby. To celebrate, the White Bunnies’ Invitation event rewards players with 10 Prismatic Hourglasses for logging in until September 7.
Finally, the update also delivers quality of life improvements, including:
- Lower requirements for the Calamity Weapon and Abyssal Compass systems, which now allow players to earn resources more quickly.
- Abyssal Defence enables more efficient dungeon farming.
- Ensemble Act offers increased minimum rewards to enhance progression.
- Commission Routes are streamlined to improve daily gameplay.
The Duet Night Abyss: Paradise Prelude update is now live and free to play on Steam, Epic Games Store, iOS, and Android.
