Arriving this April 23rd, Marvel Rivals has announced a brand new Blood Hunt PvE game mode. The event will run alongside the other upcoming Season 7.5 events such as the Hellfire Gala event.
Gameplay and Playable Characters
Like its predecessor, the Marvel Zombies event, Blood Hunt has you battling hordes of zombies. The game mode can be played solo or co-op. This time around, the hero roster sees some changes, here they are:
- Blade
- Jeff the Land Shark
- Squirrel Girl
- Moon Knight
- Thor
- The Punisher
As with before, the heroes each have new abilities from their standard PvP mode, which can be customised as you level up and earn EXP. This time, the hero customisation is bigger and better with more options.
New Bosses And Enemies
Blood Hunt also features some new enemies for players to battle against. From the trailer, we can observe the heroes also facing hordes of gargoyles / demons along the standard hordes of zombies and their variations.
Zombie Namor and the Queen of the Dead have been vanquished. Taking their place are:
- CapWolf
- Ratatoskr
- Dracula
- Kingpin
While we don’t know how long the event will last or if it’s permanent, given how well the Marvel Zombies event went, it’s likely Blood Hunt will be here for some time!
