Indie developer, 1+1 Studios, has announced that their debut title game, Duo Quest, has launched its official public demo on Steam. In this co-op roguelite deckbuilder, you and a partner build decks and fight monsters, while answering questions about each other to create powerful attacks.
After launching a playtest in December 2025 that attracted more than 5,000 players worldwide, the new demo build promises polish and new features to level up the players’ experience, including new and exciting questions, and a shorter Bondbreaker Mode to address public playtest feedback and improve the flow of the game.
Other additions include a new Quick Play mode, which allows players to quickly jump in to play a quick round with their choice of question theme in a one-off battle. A new Deck Edit room and Cursed Artifact room can also be found during players’ runs, which will allow players to edit their deck and discover powerful new artifacts that will help in their journey.
Duo Quest recently won the 2025 Indie Wave Rider Award at Gamescom Asia, Bangkok, for Creativity in Game Design, Graphics or Mechanics. They have also been nominated as one of the finalists for the Best Multiplayer category for the 2026 BIG Gamescom LATAM, with the results announced during gamescom latam later this month.
The public demo is now available for all to play on Steam, with new updates planned for the demo build leading up to the game’s release.
