Chainsaw Man Part 2 will conclude with its final chapter this March 25, marking an end to the manga series after three years and eight months of updates. The news was announced via the series’ March 11 update, published via the manga reading app Shonen Jump Plus.
The Chainsaw Man manga series was originally created by artist Tatsuki Fujimoto, telling the story of Denji, a young man who becomes caught up in a battle between humanity and monsters known as “Devils”. Denji himself recieves the powers of a Devil, becoming the titular Chainsaw Man, and is recruited to a mysterious government agency that hunts down Devils.
Chainsaw Man is regarded as one of the best-selling manga titles of all time, with the series’ first instalment, Chainsaw Man Part 1, having sold over 30 million copies as of 2024. It was first adapted into an anime series in 2022, followed by the theatrical film Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc in 2025, which has grossed over 10.7 billion yen (over RM275 mil) in Japan alone.
