We’re learning more and more about what lies in the Collector’s Museum as the Night At the Museum update draws closer. Through the humorous Marvel Rivals’ Dev Vision Vol. 13, NetEase has unveiled its intended plans for the upcoming season and more.
So, get ready because Season 6 of Marvel Rivals is set to go live on 16, January 2026, which is in 2 days’ time!
Deadpool Is Here To Break The 4th Wall, And Your Games
Starting with the update’s main attraction, Deadpool, the Merc With A Mouth himself, is finally going to be made available to play. For the past month or so, he’s been shifting between roles (Vanguard, Duelist, Strategist), at one point even becoming an entire map.
With his trailer dropping we finally get to see how he works, and he’s straight up everything! Deadpool can swap between all three roles at the spawn point, which will give him different abilities. As a Duelist, you can use Deadpool’s pistols and katanas to deal damage; switch to Vanguard to shield using his unicorn plushie; or switch once again to Strategist to heal teammates.
New Battlepass, New Drip
Of course, with every new season comes an all-new battlepass, and the cosmetics coming next season really slap. Invisible Woman, Venom, Storm, Black Panther, Mantis, Moon Knight, Wolverine, Blade, Winter Soldier, and Star-Lord will each receive a new skin.
Upcoming Balances, Gameplay Adjustments and More
The new season also brings changes, as usual, to shake things up a bit and balance things out. Click here to read entire the balance post.
Aside from that, NetEase also announced the end of Zombies mode, but also announced a new PvE gamemode coming in the first half of this year, with Zhiyong staking his hair on the line for the latter. Resource Rumble and its map will also be removed from Quick Match based on its reception.
With all that being said, do watch the Dev Vision to hear it straight from the devs. I’m certainly looking forward to a night at the museum, and hope to see you fellow Rivals there!
