GSC Cinemas will be screening Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution -Shibuya Incident x The Culling Game Begins starting December 4th, 2025. The compilation film includes the Shibuya Incident arc from the second season and the first two episodes of the third season.
The film recently opened in Japan on November 7th, ranking 1 in the Japanese box office on its opening weekend and earning 639,785,800 yen (US$4.13 million) in its first three days. The third season will premiere in Japan on January 8th, 2025.
Shota Goshozono (Jujutsu Kaisen: Hidden Inventory / Premature Death – The Movie, Ranking of Kings) returns from the second season to direct the series at MAPPA, while Hiroshi Seko (Ajin, DAN DA DAN) will be joining as scriptwriter, and Yoshimasa Terui (Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX, Hi Score Girl) will be composing the music.
