Assassin’s Creed: Shadows has launched its Title Update v1.1.6, which features gameplay updates, bug fixes, and a surprise collaboration with Attack on Titan. This time-limited quest will run from now until December 22nd.
The crossover event will see a mysterious, power-hungry faction infiltrating feudal Japan, using a kidnapped Titan-Shifter to achieve their goals of total domination. When an attempt to rescue the Shifter fails, a lone survivor recruits Naoe and Yasuke to help her stop the group from unleashing the Titan on Japan.
Players can find the quest giver in the Yamashiro region, North of Hanazo Tower. Once players interact with the quest giver, the new quest will be added to their objective board. You will also need to unlock Yasuke as a playable character in order to unlock the quest.
Through the quest, players will be able to unlock rewards such as banners and a statue which can be used to customise their hideout; as well as a crystal katana that can be equipped on Naoe. Die-hard Attack on Titan fans can also purchase the Attack on Titan Dual Pack, which features additional cosmetics like a Mikasa outfit for Naoe and a Titan outfit for Yasuke.
