ACS EDU Tour Season 4 Crowns Champions At Berjaya Times Square, Kuala Lumpur

Season 4 of the ACS EDU Tour concluded its thrilling journey over the weekend with a grand finale at Berjaya Times Square Kuala Lumpur, celebrating the best of Malaysia’s varsity esports talent and youth creativity.

Now in its fourth consecutive year, the nationwide tournament once again made history, officially entering the Malaysia Book of Records as the nation’s Largest Varsity Esports Tournament, featuring 1,221 student participants from across 13 states and three federal territories.

From June to November, university and college players competed in Honor of Kings, culminating in a high-stakes finale offering RM200,000 worth of prizes, as well as semi-professional esports contracts with CRIT Malaysia. The top prize went to Tunku Abdul Rahman University College from Kuala Lumpur, with Multimedia University Melaka in the runner-up spot.

Backed by ESPORTS INTEGRATED and the Malaysia Electronic Sports Federation, the ACS EDU Tour is part of a broader mission to position Malaysia as a regional esports powerhouse. Through workshops and mentorship, CRIT Malaysia provides participants with practical experience in esports management, production, and digital careers.

The ACS EDU Tour features initiatives like CRITFluence, a content creation program that has seen 3,300 student content creators gaining real-world experience in brand collaboration and digital storytelling; as well as the ZTE|nubia Scream for Charity Drive, which united gamers for social welfare under the banner “Gaming for Good.”

With Season 4 wrapped, anticipation now turns to ACS EDU Tour Season 5, which is set to break new ground by being entirely student-led, from event management and production, to marketing and community engagement. For more information, visit www.crit-esports.com.
