Pixelity Inc. has officially revealed new details for its previously untitled Neon Genesis Evangelion game project, now known as EVANGELION: Δ CROSS REFLECTIONS. The game aims to be a fully immersive experience that transports players into the anime using advanced virtual reality and mixed reality technologies.
Planned as a trilogy, the first installment, “EVANGELION: Δ CROSS REFLECTIONS,” centers on events from Episode 1 to 11 of the anime. The story will weave an original plotline with key events from the original anime, with the player taking on the role of a protagonist who dreams of becoming a pilot. Along the way, they will meet other trainee characters who aim to become NERV staff members, each with their own diverse backgrounds and motives.
A demo version of this game project is scheduled to be revealed in the first half of 2026. According to the developer, Pixelity, the game aims to make fans feel “as though they truly exist within the world of Evangelion”, and seeks to serve as a highly polished yet accessible entry point for those new to the franchise.
