Following casting rumours from earlier this year, it seems like Legendary Pictures’ live-action Street Fighter movie is heading full steam into production. The film is being helmed by Kitao Sakurai, director of the 2021 Netflix film Bad Trip, and was initially slated for a March 2026 release. However, Sony has since removed the film from its release calendar, and has yet to announce a new premiere date.
Despite this, a number of casting announcements have been confirmed for the film. Here’s a list of who’s who in the upcoming Street Fighter movie:
Noah Centineo as Ken

American actor Noah Centineo came onto the scene as a teen heartthrob, playing love interests in rom-coms such as To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before and Sierra Burgess Is a Loser. However, in recent years, he’s taken on more action-packed roles in films like Black Adam and Warfare.
Andrew Koji as Ryu

Andrew Koji is a Japanese-English actor who earned his breakout role in Cinemax’s Warrior. Like his character, Koji is no stranger to martial arts, having frequently starred in action films and TV series such as Snake Eyes, Bullet Train, and Gangs of London. Video game fans will have heard him as the voice of Erlang in Black Myth: Wukong.
Callina Liang as Chun-Li

A Canadian actress who got her start in the six-episode TV series Tell Me Everything. Her most recent projects include playing Lynn Kang in the film Bad Genius, and Chloe in Presence.
Roman Reigns as Akuma

An American wrestler who has performed with WWE since 2010, where he became WWE’s 28th Triple Crown Champion and 17th Grand Slam Champion. Akuma will mark his first major film role, with Reigns’ previous film and TV appearances largely being in the form of guest roles or cameos.
Jason Momoa as Blanka

This prolific Hawaiian actor needs no introduction – but we’ll give a recap just in case. Momoa first gained the attention of Hollywood with his turn as Khal Drogo in Game of Thrones, where he would go on to become the Aquaman of Zack Snyder’s DC universe, as well as one of the leads in A Minecraft Movie.
David Dastmalchian as M. Bison

David Dastmalchian is an American writer, actor, and producer who made his film debut as the Joker’s henchman in Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight. Superhero fans might also know him for playing Polka-Dot Man in The Suicide Squad, and Abra Kadabra in the Flash TV show.
Andrew Schulz as Dan Hibiki

American comedian, actor and producer Andrew Schulz’s most recent roles include playing Chip in The Underdogs, Ronnie in Upgraded, and Hector in The Thicket. He also currently stars in Netflix’s ongoing TV series Tires.
50 Cent as Balrog

Another name on this list that likely needs no introduction, 50 Cent – born Curtis James Jackson III – is one of the most well-known American rappers of all time, with over 30 million records sold. Outside of his music career, he has appeared in films such as Expandables and Den of Thieves.
Orville Peck as Vega

Hailing from South Africa, the mysterious masked singer Orville Peck is best known for his award-winning debut album, Pony, which was released in 2019. Peck has also dabbled in musical theatre, having made his Broadway debut as The Emcee in a 2025 revival of Cabaret.
Vidyut Jammal as Dhalsim

Indian actor Vidyut Jammal will be making his Hollywood debut in this movie, having spent most of his career starring in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu movies. Fans of Bollywood action films will likely know him for playing Captain Karanvir Singh Dogra in the Commando movie and TV series.
