Keep Driving Walkthrough: How To Get All Endings & Hidden Achievements

Developed by Y/CJ/Y Games, Keep Driving is an atmospheric management RPG where you road trip from one end of the country to the other. Whether you’re picking up hitchhikers, working odd jobs, or simply driving from point A to point B, there are multiple roads you can take to reach your destination.

This guide is a comprehensive breakdown of how to unlock all the vehicles, endings, and hidden achievements in Keep Driving.


How To Unlock Every Vehicle

1981 Sedan

This vehicle is unlocked by default for your first run.

1988 Truck

Complete one run to unlock this vehicle.

1970 Muscle

Complete 2-3 runs to unlock this vehicle. (Certain endings may not qualify, such as the failure ending.)


How To Get Every Ending

The Festival Ending

  • Open the letter you receive at home
  • Visit a big city to collect your Festival Ticket
  • Get a tent (Optional)
  • Reach the city marked on your map

The Failure Ending

  • When you start your run, set your Parents Relationship to 1.
  • Proceed with the game until your car breaks down. You can escape road events and avoid repairing your car to make this process faster.
  • Call your parents to trigger the ending.

The Jail Ending

  • Drink any alcohol and start driving.
  • Drive until you encounter a Police road event, then press the gas pedal to escape.
  • This triggers the Police Chase road event. Make sure to fail it to trigger this ending.

The Mountain Ending

  • Visit the Mountain Base location.
  • Receive the letter from The Hiker hitchhiker, or from the Cabin located at the Mountain Base.
  • Prepare at least 2 x Jerrycans and 2 x Tool Boxes before attempting the climb.
  • Climb to the top to trigger this ending.
  • (Note: The Mountain Climb is a long drive with a significant number of road events, but you can open your trunk between road events and you will have your hitchhikers with you in the vehicle.)

The Great Race Ending

  • Receive the letter from The Mechanic hitchhiker, or from the blue rally car driver which spawns at random locations.
  • Once you open the letter, a new Race Track location will appear on your map.
  • Install a Roll Cage upgrade on your car.
  • Visit the location on your map to kickstart the event.
  • (Note: The Race is a long drive with a significant amount of road events. You’re also not allowed to open your truck between road events and you will not have your hitchhikers with you on this drive.)

The Get A Job Ending

  • Go to any Work Agency and complete all the jobs there.
  • After you leave the town, you should eventually get an Introspection event about working for the summer. Select the answer that agrees with this, and you’ll receive a letter to kickstart the ending.
  • Revisit the Work Agency where you completed all the jobs and select the Permanent Job option to trigger the ending.

The Rehab Ending

  • Use any drugs you can get your hands on.
  • Once the drug status has worn off, you should receive the withdrawal status.
  • Once the withdrawal status wears off, a new location will eventually appear on your map.
  • Visit the location to reach the Rehab Center and trigger this ending.

The Party Cabin Ending

  • Pick up The Hurricane hitchhiker.
  • Complete her character quest, which involves drunk driving for an entire road stretch. Make sure to drink the alcohol before leaving the location just to be safe.
  • Once you successfully complete this quest, she will give you a letter that unlocks the location for The Party Cabin.
  • Buy a pack of beer.
  • Bring her and your vehicle to The Cabin to trigger this ending.

The Inheritance Ending

  • On the sixth in-game day, you will receive a letter informing you that your grandmother is dying from cancer.
  • Visit her in the location marked on your map, and receive a letter that unlocks the location to your Inheritance.
  • If you don’t visit her in time, you will still receive the letter and unlock the location after she passes.
  • Visit the location marked on your map to trigger this ending.

How To Unlock Every Hidden Achievement

Music Curious

  • Collect 25 CDs
  • CDs are most commonly found in-stores, but can also be unlocked through quests, while exploring, and gifted by characters.

The Kid Is Safe

  • Pick up The Kid hitchhiker.
  • Bring her to the locations listed in her quest.
  • You can also find a Lost Kid flyer at diners that rewards $100 (Optional)
  • Take her to the location to receive this achievement.

She’s Gotta Live!

  • Pick up The Bride hitchhiker.
  • Complete her quest
    • Drink some alcohol (This can be completed at any town)
    • Relax (Sleep in a hotel or use weed)
    • Escape a road event
  • Once you complete the quest, she will request that you bring her back home.
  • Bring her home to receive this achievement.

Punk Show

  • Pick up The Punk hitchhiker and his dog.
  • Take him to the location marked on your map.
  • Enter the Exploration Zone in that town to find a hidden Club, and receive the achievement.

Mr Mudd & Mr Gold

  • Pick up The Stranger hitchhiker.
  • Take him to the new El Cobra location on your map.
  • Give him $300 as part of his quest (You will lose this money).
  • Completing this sequence of events will unlock the achievement.
  • (Note: You will begin to encounter Loan Shark road events once you pick up The Stranger. Buy the gun from the Drug Dealer in big cities at night to deal with these events easily.)

He’s Innocent!

  • Pick up The Convict hitchhiker.
  • After a few days, he will unlock a new location on your map.
  • Take him to The Lighthouse to receive this achievement.

Taxes and Love?

  • Pick up The Suit hitchhiker.
  • Bring him to a town with a Work Agency.
  • After a few days, he will ask you to take him to a location on the map so he can return home to his family.
  • Keep driving and eventually you will find him again as a hitchhiker event. Pick him up again to receive this achievement.

You Want An Egg?

  • Pick up The Girl and The Mechanic hitchhikers.
  • Buy a jar of pickled eggs.
  • (Note: It is recommended to start with a vehicle that can carry many passengers, such as The Sedan or Muscle Car to make this run easier.)
