Dire Kitten Games Announces Voice Cast For Upcoming Dating Sim ‘Scholomatch’

Indie developer Dire Kitten Games has announced the voice cast for its upcoming dating sim, Scholomatch, set to launch in late 2025 on PC via Steam. The game combines visual novel elements with match-3 gameplay, offering players a unique experience where they can match gems and form romantic connections within a magical world.

Scholomatch takes players to the Horizon Wizarding Academy, where they assume the role of its newest student. Players will learn magic, interact with various otherworldly beings, and uncover secrets that threaten the academy’s future.

The game features 11 main characters, each with their own storyline, voice acting, and gameplay mechanics. The cast includes talented voice actors such as Jesse Inocalla (Genshin Impact, New Tales from the Borderlands), Sally Beaumont (Warhammer 40K: Rogue Trader), and Jingle Deleon (Pokémon Arceus’ Wish, Diablo IV), among others.

The game’s narrative is shaped by player choices, allowing them to flirt, build connections, and explore relationships with a diverse cast of supernatural characters, including werewolves, fairies, sirens, and more. Dialogue decisions lead into match-3 puzzles where players clear gems to earn XP and unlock elemental improvements to increase their scores. These improvements also serve to impress fellow students, advancing both the player’s relationships and game progress.

With romance being at the heart of the game, Scholomatch offers players a variety of relationship options, including platonic, romantic, and polyamorous choices. Players can pursue different types of relationships, including same-gender matches, throughout the game’s more than 15 hours of content.

A playable demo of Scholomatch is now available via Steam. The full game is expected to launch in 2025.
