The Biggest Announcements From The 2025 Pokémon Presents Livestream

The February 2025 Pokémon Presents livestream announced several Pokémon-related news topics in conjunction with Pokémon Day, an annual celebration of the launch of the original videogames 29 years ago on 27th Feb 1996.

Here’s a quick rundown on the many things revealed:

This newly announced title aims to focus on the battling aspects that fans have come to love over the decades, and it will be playable on IOS, Android and Nintendo Switch with further compatability with Pokémon HOME, allowing players to bring in Pokémon from other titles such as Pokémon Scarlet and Violet as well as Pokémon GO.

I will be excited to see if this will be a Lite version of Pokémon battles in the main-line game or if it will be a full-fledged system that could even become the next big competitive Pokémon game.
