Soft Source Publishing’s puzzle-platformer As I Began to Dream will be participating in the February 2025 edition of Steam Next Fest, happening from 24th February to 3rd March, 10am PDT.

As I Began to Dream is an enchanting puzzle-platformer with a unique environment manipulation mechanic. You play as Lily, who wakes to find herself trapped in a mysterious dream world. Lily must visit various dream worlds that mirror her past experiences, and use her powers to control and manipulate the world around her to progress in her journey of overcoming trauma and finding herself.

The game will also feature immersive, hand-drawn visuals that depict different, unique dream worlds, further enhanced by an original soundtrack featuring 20 exclusive music pieces.

Soft Source Publishing shared via press release: “Steam Next Fest has always allowed players around the world the chance to find and experience new, upcoming indie titles. And for us, it’s an amazing opportunity to connect with players and gather feedback. As such, we’re excited to bring a new demo of As I Began to Dream to the Steam Next Fest audience.”
