Includes features previously only available on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S

Grand Theft Auto V (GTAV) on PC will get a free update on March 4th that adds features that were previously only available in the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions. New vehicles, enhanced performance at Hao’s Special Works, wildlife encounters, sophisticated visual settings, faster loading times, and more are all included in this release. Owners of existing GTAV PCs can easily transfer their Story Mode and Online progress and upgrade for free.

New Features For PC Players

A number of much-desired GTA Online features will become available to both new and existing PC users upon upgrading:

• The Special Works of Hao (HSW): Examine a variety of modern cars and upgrades that improve car performance. HSW Races, HSW Time Trials, and Premium Test Rides will test your driving prowess.
• Wildlife Photography Challenge: Explore Southern San Andreas and take pictures of different creatures to take part in daily challenges and win special prizes.
• GTA+ Membership: PC gamers may now sign up for GTA+ to receive special advantages in the improved GTA Online experience and other areas.
• Career Progress Tracking: As you grow your empire, keep an eye on your illegal activity in all GTA Online updates.
• New Landing Page: Get started on your journey with a modernized UI that takes you right to the action. An enhanced introduction is also available to new players, who start as Executives, Gunrunners, Nightclub Owners, or Biker in the Career Builder and receive GTA$4,000,000 to invest in real estate, cars, and other necessities.

Recent enhancements to the GTA Online player experience, such proactive voice chat moderation and kernel-based anti-cheat methods, are also included in this updated GTAV version for PC, guaranteeing a safe and entertaining environment for all players.

Technical Enhancements

The updated GTAV on PC provides the following features, depending on your hardware capabilities:

• Ray Tracing: Take advantage of console-introduced ray-traced shadows and reflections, as well as PC-specific ray tracing capabilities like ambient occlusion and global illumination.
• Graphics Support: Take use of NVIDIA DLSS 3, AMD FSR1 and FSR3, and support for greater frame rates, aspect ratios, and resolutions.

Players can sign up for GTA+, GTA Online’s premium membership program, for the first time on PC. A monthly deposit of GTA$500,000 into your in-game account and access to member-only Shark Cards with a 15% bonus are just two of the many exclusive perks that come with GTA+.

At The Vinewood Club, members also have access to exclusive benefits like free cars, a garage that can accommodate 100 vehicles with a dedicated Vehicle Workshop, and the Vinewood Club App on your in-game phone for easy vehicle requests, business earnings collection, ammunition restocking, and more. GTA+ also features a library of vintage Rockstar Games games that can be downloaded, a changing range of in-game benefits, distinctive car customizations, and stylish clothing options.

Continued Support For All Players

Players whose hardware doesn’t satisfy the new upgrade’s minimum requirements can still enjoy GTAV because support for the current version will continue. While attempts are being made to extend compatibility to the upgraded version, this guarantees FiveM will continue to be supported.

Please be aware that the original GTA Online on PC will continue to function as a separate instance in order to preserve this support. Those who are still using this version will not be allowed to join sessions with those who have upgraded. If two PC gamers want to play together, they must make sure they are using the same version of the game. Everyone who upgrades will be able to use both versions, and new customers will also be able to use both.
