Bandai Namco revealed a new character trailer for Bleach: Rebirth of Souls, their upcoming 3D arena fighting game for the Bleach franchise, launching on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam on March 21st, 2025.
In the game, players will relive the main story of Bleach from Ichigo’s rise as a Soul Reaper in the Substitute Soul Reaper Arc to the climactic battle against Sosuke Aizen in the Arrancar Arc. Players can also unlock deeper insights into the characters of Bleach with Secret Story mode, revealing the moments that shaped their personalities.
The newest trailer introduces the abilities of Sosuke Aizen, who joins the ranks of other familiar characters like Ichigo Kurosaki, Rukia Kuchiki, Toshiro Hitsugaya, and more in the character roster.
In terms of gameplay, players can choose their favourite characters and unleash their unique sword abilities. Breaking down one gauge of Reishi will decrease their opponent’s Konpaku or health bar. Players can use combos to destroy multiple Konpaku or health bars. Accumulating spiritual power lets fighters use Spiritual Pressure Moves, then awaken and unleash Bankai.
The game will get a Deluxe Edition that includes a season pass teasing four playable characters, early access for one week, and Soul Crystals. The Ultimate Edition will additionally feature five-costume sets for Thousand-Year Blood War and Rebirth of Souls. The pre-order bonus is a Thousand-Year Blood War costume set.
