One Punch Man, the anime based on anime is based on ONE and Yūsuke Murata’s One-Punch Man, will return for a third season in 2025. J.C. Staff will be returning to animate the third season, with the first season animated by Madhouse.
The new season is the first out of ten “attacks” or projects celebrating the anime’s tenth anniversary. Six projects have been announced so far, including:
- One Punch Man Season 3 to air in 2025
- Official 10th anniversary visual
- 10th anniversary promotional video
- The first two seasons’ clean opening and ending animation sequences to stream globally on YouTube
- The first episodes from the first two seasons (episodes #1 and #13) to stream globally on YouTube with English subtitles
- “One Punch Man Maji Ongaku-Sai” (Serious Music Festival) to take place on September 14th, 2025 at the Nerima Cultural Center’s Main Hall in Tokyo, hosting musicians JAM Project, Hiroko Moriguchi, and Makoto Miyazaki, as well as cast members Makoto Furukawa, Kaito Ishikawa, and Hikaru Midorikawa
The remaining four “attack” projects will be announced in the future.
