The EOY J-Culture Festival 2024 returns bigger and better than ever! Having grown from one hall to two this year, Singapore’s largest Japanese pop culture celebration will take place on 21 and 22 December 2024 at Suntec City Convention Centre, offering fans an immersive experience packed with vibrant performances, creative showcases, and cultural activities.
Organised by a passionate team of anime and cosplay enthusiasts, the EOY J-Culture Festival is a labour of love that brings the community together to celebrate Japanese pop culture in all its dynamic forms. With a stellar lineup and more than 30 stage shows daily, this is the ultimate gathering for J-pop, anime, and cosplay fans to connect, create, and celebrate.
The EOY J-Culture Festival 2024 features International Guest Artistes, over 30 daily Stage Performances, a vibrant Creators’ Alley with 250 exhibitors, and engaging Fringe Activities like cultural workshops and gaming zones.
International Guest Artistes
This year, five celebrated guest artistes from across Asia will light up the stage with their unique talents:
- Icezu (Thailand): Idol and member of the girl group “ANGeVIL,” Icezu is adored for her captivating performances and charisma, with a combined social media following close to 2 million.
- Ola Aphrodite (Indonesia): A fan-favourite cosplayer and performer, Ola has been a cherished part of EOY since 2019, impressing audiences with her vibrant presence.
- Yakko (Japan): Formerly of idol group, Q’ulle (Avex), and dance group, DANCEROID, Yakko brings her infectious and dynamic stage energy to this year’s festival.
- Wata (Japan): A choreographer for one of the most popular Hololive VTubers, Houshou Marine, Wata’s dance expertise and choreography have earned her over 33 million views on YouTube.
- RuRu (Taiwan): Known as Ru’s Piano, this popular ACG pianist has captivated= millions with her evocative renditions of anime and game soundtracks. Her 2.6 million YouTube subscribers are a testament to her popularity.
Stage Performances
Prepare for a spectacular lineup of live music, dance acts, and talent showcases! With over 30 performances happening each day, the main stage promises vibrant and engaging entertainment throughout the event.

- Cheryl Rein – An all-rounder who majors in fashion content creation and excels as an emcee, singer, and dancer on stage.
- Nobrand Zhabors – Cosplay performers who bring beloved characters to life with flair and dramatic artistry.
- HalcyonMusic – Captivating the crowd with mesmerising anime music on the piano.
- madLABS – A dynamic dance group of nine talented girls delivering synchronised and powerful routines.
- RYSE – A charismatic dance duo known for their creative and energetic choreography.
- Kyururun! – A lively quartet delivering harmonious dance performances filled with charm and precision.
Creators’ Alley
The Creators’ Alley is a haven for artistic expression and a showcase of creativity. Explore a sprawling marketplace showcasing the talents of over 250 creators, offering something for everyone:
- A Diverse Range of Creations: From anime-style illustrations, fan merchandise, and cosplay props to custom nail art, unique jewelry, intricate crochet works, and original character goods.
- Notable Creators: Highlights include professional cosplayer Xiaoyukiko, multi-talented artist and author Samara Gan (author of How to Date a Dozen Men), and Black Crow Taxidermy & Art, Singapore’s only commercial taxidermy studio, known for their uniquely crafted pieces.
