Moshi Rock Side:B, organised by local Japanese rock collective Jrock.my, rocked the Malaysian music scene on September 29th at Drum Asia Studio Hartamas. Following the success of Side:A earlier this year. Side:B delivered yet another electrifying showcase of Malaysia’s homegrown musical talent, offering an unforgettable night of performances inspired by Japanese rock and pop culture.
The music event featured an exciting lineup of six up-and-coming Malaysian bands: Purple Taugeh, Tabako Neko, Nasi Lemak Karaage, Hsachiko Got Daddies, IGNIGHT, and The Oni-Sons. Each of these bands brought their unique styles to the stage, captivating the audience with dynamic performances that ranged from melodic J-Pop rhythms to the raw intensity of J-Rock.
Kicking off the night was Purple Taugeh, taking the stage as the opening act for their very first J-Rock performance.
