With one week to go to gamescom asia 2024, the finalists of the annual pitch competition have been announced out of 55 indie game developer submissions. Beyond recognising the region’s best indie talent, the competition provides invaluable exposure and opens doors to potential funding opportunities with investors and publishers.
The final 13 submissions hail from Singapore, Thailand, Spain, Brazil, France, Germany, Kyrgyzstan, and Ammobox Studios representing Malaysia! Following a fierce first round of pitches, the finalists will present their games in-person on the gamescom asia stage this 18 October. The winners will be announced on the same day, walking away with a Cash Prize of up to 2,000 SGD and G.Round Playtesting Vouchers worth 2,000 SGD.
Finalists will compete in three exciting categories: Best Pitch, Best Game Design, and Most Anticipated Game. The esteemed judging panel includes:

With over 150 exhibitors spanning the globe and representing various facets of the gaming world, gamescom asia 2024 is set to be one of the region’s must-attend gaming events. Besides the pitching competition, there will be booths from CAPCOM, Neopets, PlayStation, 4Divinity, and more taking the floor at the entertainment zone.
