The ACS EDU Tour Season 3 is capturing the attention and imagination of university students all across Malaysia as they reach the last leg of the tour. With only a handful of university venues left to hit, the response has been overwhelmingly positive with students eagerly participating in the PUBG Mobile tournaments and engaging in various activities offered by the event’s partners.
Each university visit features a thrilling PUBG Mobile tournament with approximately 16 teams competing. These events have become a highlight for many students, providing them with a platform to showcase their gaming prowess, strategy, and teamwork.
Understanding the competitive nature of the event, ACS EDU TOUR has made provisions for students who did not make it to the next round at their first attempt. These students have the unique opportunity to visit other universities on the tour, giving them multiple chances to compete and succeed. This approach not only keeps the spirit of competition alive but also ensures inclusivity and fairness.
Additionally, participants do not leave empty-handed. Every player receives a specially curated tote bag filled with essential items, including UNI5G Wow prepaid pack, courtesy of the event’s official presenter – Unifi Mobile, and products like Safi Hijabsta Deodorant and Safi Shayla hair mist, from their personal care sponsors.
ZTE Nubia, the official smartphone of the tour, also added a scream machine campaign at every drop zone. All donations raised during this campaign will be directed towards supporting a local NGO that is focused on speaking out against bullying and gives a voice to the voiceless.
Recognizing the power of student voices, ACS EDU TOUR has initiated a student influencer program, where they will be recruiting a total of 1,000 students across 100 universities and position them as Key Opinion Consumers (KOC). These influencers have embarked on a journey to represent the event’s partners. They are tasked with promoting the brands, sharing their personal experiences, and engaging with a broader audience, thereby gaining valuable skills and exposure.
The tour now includes a student entrepreneurship program, equipping students with essential business skills and hands-on experience, fostering innovation and self-reliance. To support onground sales of Unifi Mobile products, CRIT has introduced a raffle where customers can win an all-expenses-paid trip to the PUBG Mobile Global Championship in London, helping students boost sales while engaging customers with an exciting prize.
As the tour reaches its climax, the excitement is far from over. The tour promises to bring even more engaging activities, intense competitions, and opportunities for students to develop and showcase their skills.
The State Finals of the ACS EDU Tour kicked off on 30th September 2024 and will run throughout the month of October 2024. Each event moving forward will see close to 80 students participating, with a grand total of 1,280 students across Malaysia battling it out for the top slot in their respective states.
Winning teams will be coming to Kuala Lumpur for a final showdown on the 30th of November to 1st December 2024 for the Grand Finals, at The Boulevard, Berjaya Times Square.
The live broadcast of the State Finals matches and the Grand Finals can be streamed on the Unifi TV app, on Unifi Esports HD under the sports channel.
