In the spirit of the Mid-Autumn Festival, virtual pet sim Weyrdlets has launched a free update titled Bright Days & Cozy Nights. The update includes several new additions to the game and a limited-time event that will only last two weeks!
The first major update adds a day-night system to the game that follows your computer’s time, so now your Weyrdlet can experience days and nights with you in real time! To light up those in-game nights, the game is also introducing lamps that will automatically switch on as soon as night falls, making your pet’s home feel extra snuggly.
Weyrdlets is also adding a few new friends to the game. This includes these adorable mini companions for your desktop adventures: the Slime and the glowing Lunar Bunny! The Playground Kids are another new addition that will come out and play at the Playground on some days, so check in daily and you might just bump into them.
For those looking to spruce up your home, give your pet’s home a fresh vibe with the new Modern Series furniture set. These sleek, stylish pieces will add a cool, contemporary touch to their space.
As for the limited-time event, make sure to login within the next two weeks to redeem these Mid-Autumn Festival themed treats! There are three glowing lantern toys for your pets to play with, plus a lantern decoration for their home. They all light up at night, making it look festive and fun.
