Lock up your children, Five Nights At Freddy’s is coming to Dead By Daylight. Announced as part of the Five Nights At Freddy’s 10th anniversary celebrations, Dead By Daylight revealed the news on their official Twitter account with a Summer 2025 release date.
Originally released in 2016, Dead By Daylight is a one-versus-four game in which one player takes on the role of a Killer and the other four play as Survivors. The Killer must hunt and impale each Survivor on sacrificial hooks to appease a malevolent force known as the Entity, while the Survivors have to avoid being caught and power up the exit gates by working together to fix five generators.
Since then, the game has introduced various Killers and Survivors from iconic franchises across history including Sadako from The Ring, The Pig from SAW, Ada Wong from Resident Evil, and Cheryl Mason from Silent Hill among others.
Although little is known about the FNAF collaboration, fans are already speculating which characters will join the roster including Freddy Fazbear and Springtrap as Killers. Still, it looks like fans will have to wait next year for more information.
