Happening this March 22nd to 24th, the Philippines is hosting their first Renaissance Faire at Carantes Ancestral Forest, Baguio City. Transporting its attendees to a mystical land of swords and magic, the inaugural Ren Faire PH aims to unite a strong community with shared passion for the magical, mystical, nerdy, geeky, and niche.
The event features different themes on each day, offering attendees inspiration for their fantastical garbs across all three days. The first day’s theme is Vikings/Pirates vs Nobles, day two’s theme is Cottagecore vs Steampunk, and the third day’s theme is Little People vs Dungeons & Dragons.
The event also offers various merchants, workshops, competitions and performances ranging from tarot card reading to leather craft workshops. There will even be a Queen of the Faire pageant where contestants will “not only be judged by their countenance, but also by the regality of their spirit”
