Reggie Fils-Aime Retires As Nintendo of America’s President

This week, we received a bombshell of an update from Nintendo of America’s President and COO, Reggie Fils-Aime. In a 2 minute 30 second video, he announced his retirement after 15 years in Nintendo of America, 13 years as its president.

The video consists of him giving a heartfelt thanks to the Nintendo community for continuing to support Nintendo and allowing them to continue granting smiles and new experiences to its community.

Reggie will be succeeded in April by Doug Bowser (yes, the name is very fitting). Bowser was formerly NoA’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, and we’re very excited to see where Nintendo will go from here.

We wish Reggie the best of luck in his future, and would like to say our sincerest thanks, for the experiences and joy that Nintendo has brought us over the years.
