Similarly to Joker getting a new face, Harley Quinn is getting a new voice. Kaley Cuoco, best known for her work in the Big Bang Theory, is lending her amazing voice to DC. She will be voicing none other than the maniacal lover to the clown prince of crime, Dr Harleen Quinzel a.k.a. Harley Quinn.
Harley Quinn has been the partner-in-crime to the Joker ever since her inception but this time she is no one’s partner. She is the star of the her own show for the upcoming animated Harley Quinn series. The DC Universe Twitter released a tweet with a short that shows Harley Quinn promoting her own series. I must say that the voice is pretty spot on.

Although, Kaley Cuoco will be in the animated series, it is no way replacing Margot Robbie on the big screen. Margot Robbie is set to return on the big screens for Birds of Prey and although they are both in DC, Cuoco’s role in the animated series will be independent of the DC cinematic universe. (DC animated series are better than the movies anyway. You don’t agree with me? Tell me why below!)
The animated series is slated to be released in 2019 with a star-studded cast including Alan Tudyk, Jason Alexander, Giancarlo Esposito, Natalie Morales, Jim Rash, Tony Vale, and Chris Meloni. Unfortunately, not much is known about the characters each cast member will play. We will just have to wait for more information to be released.
In the meantime, the animated series is described as an adult animated action-comedy that follows Harley after she broke up with Joker. In contempt, she attempted to make it as her own queen-pin of crime along with Poison Ivy which we can see in the teaser above. Without a doubt, Batman and the Joker will definitely be in the series as well.
