The demo for Working With Montabi is now available on Steam ahead of the game’s participation in October’s Steam Next Fest.
The desktop companion spin-off lets cute creatures known as Montabi visit players while they work, play games or complete other activities on their computers. Players can attract different Montabi using their favourite items, interact with them and receive gifts that can be used to customise their room and avatar.
The game also includes productivity tools designed to help players stay focused, alongside an avatar that types along with the player.
Following the previously announced Rain World crossover, the demo introduces two additional collaboration characters: Teto from cooking simulator Kuloniku: Bowl Up! and Nyanus from adventure card-battler Kumitantei: Old School Slaughter.
Montabi Halloween Update Arrives October 26
Meanwhile, Montabi will receive a Halloween update on October 26, introducing a new vampire Montabi. The character will also appear in Working With Montabi.
The Version 1.1 update for Montabi will include new features, balance adjustments and other improvements. The game will also be available at a 10% discount during the Halloween period.
