Kuro Games has released Wuthering Waves Version 3.7, “Prism’s Illusion, Heart’s Illumination,” continuing the story in Mengzhou with a new Main Quest, playable Resonators, Echoes, events, and gameplay improvements.
Version 3.7 is being rolled out in two phases. Hsin is now available in Phase I alongside returning Resonators Chisa and Iuno. Phase II begins on October 22 (server time), introducing Suoming alongside returning Resonators Lucilla and Lynae.
New Story and Area
The update adds Chapter IV Act IV, “Simulacrum of the Heart,” continuing the ongoing story in Mengzhou. Players can also take on the new Tales Quest, “Moonlike Heart, Mortal Longing,” and explore the newly opened Simulacrum Nexus of Mengzhou.
Version 3.7 also introduces Main Quest Replay through the Journey Log, allowing players to revisit Main Quests from Versions 1.1 and 1.3, as well as the Moon-Chasing Festival event from Version 1.2.
New Resonators, Weapons and Echoes
The Resonator lineup for Version 3.7 includes:
- Phase I: Hsin, Chisa, Iuno
- Phase II: Suoming, Lucilla, Lynae
Featured weapons will also rotate between the two phases. Phase I adds Blooming Jadehaven, Kumokiri, and Moongazer’s Sigil, while Phase II features Unspoken Rue, Freeze Frame, and Spectrum Blaster.
Five new Echoes are introduced with the update: Formrender, Soulfrayer, Skywatch Lancer, Bloomburst Puppet, and Jade Nether Serpent.
Events and Rewards
Version 3.7 includes the permanent event Blooms for the Shadow, alongside a selection of limited-time activities and events, including:
- Cubie Wars
- Dreams in the Capsule
- Past Dreams
- Traced Seals
- Artisan’s Search
- Echo Erase
- Beyond the Waves: Land of Xuanfang
- Gifts of Waking Moon seven-day login event
- Waking Moon Fishing and Back to Solaris web events
- Bountiful Crescendo and Chord Cleansing double-drop events
Players can also progress through Moonlit Path to unlock rewards at Moonlit Ring milestones.
Starting October 22, the Gifts of Singing Drizzle login event will provide a total of 10 Radiant Tide, along with Premium Tuner and Crystal Solvent.
The To the New World – World Tour Concert Pack is also available for purchase and includes Rover’s Purrfect Pitchaccessory.
Gameplay and Quality-of-Life Updates
Version 3.7 introduces several new features and improvements. The Pioneer Podcast returns with a new season, allowing players to complete Podcast Tasks, earn EXP, and unlock rewards. Optional Insider and Connoisseur Channels provide additional rewards.
Players can now stack Echoes in the Echo Backpack, while new Handheld and Selfie camera modes expand the game’s photography options.
Team management has also been expanded, with players able to create up to 20 team setups, including the ability to name and reorder them.
A limited test of tiered client resource downloads will also begin during Version 3.7 for eligible players.
