Neos Corporation has announced that SULFUR will receive physical editions for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5 across Asia on March 11, 2027. The physical release will be available in Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Southeast Asia under an agreement with Sweden-based Perfect Random. Pre-orders will begin at retailers across Japan on a rolling basis.
Developed as the sixth title under Neos’ IndieTech Games label, SULFUR combines first-person shooter, roguelike, and action-adventure elements. Players fight enemies with guns and swords while exploring caves that change with each attempt. Weapons and armor collected during expeditions can be used to strengthen the character and develop different equipment combinations.

The game follows a priest whose church is destroyed by a mysterious witch. After being cursed, he awakens at a grave outside the ruins every time he dies. Guided by a strange talking amulet, he ventures into dangerous caves filled with monsters, cultists, and other grotesque creatures.
Players will encounter various characters and mysterious beings throughout their journey, with their choices affecting the story and its progression. By repeatedly venturing into the caves, players can experiment with different playstyles while uncovering the story through fragmented discoveries.
As the priest ventures deeper into the world, he gradually uncovers the witch’s true intentions, the fate awaiting him, and the hidden secrets surrounding the world.
