This September 19th, the latest edition of Indie Jam Sessions focuses on an increasingly important part of building a career in the games industry: putting yourself out there. Indie Jam Sessions is a monthly game development workshop and playtesting series presented by THE MAGIC RAIN and Make With Friends.
This month’s session, titled “Lock In and Link In: Social Media & Personal Branding in the Game Development Space”, will explore how developers and creatives can build their presence, communicate their work, and make meaningful connections in the industry.

The session will feature Sophie Azlan, Council Member of OutCrowd Malaysia. With Level Up KL just around the corner, the talk will look at how to approach being perceived when you have only a few minutes to introduce yourself, or when you have more time to make a lasting impression.
From social media and personal branding to talking about your work in person, the session aims to help attendees feel more prepared to put themselves out there and make the most of upcoming industry opportunities.
