SwkGDC Game Jam returns to TEGAS Digital Village for its fifth edition this 18 – 21 August, organised in partnership with Sarawak Digital Economy Corporation, Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation, and Passion Republic Games.
The SwkGDC Game Jam is an annual on-site game jam that aims to provide aspiring East Malaysian game designers with hands-on experience and connect them with experienced mentors. The competition is open to all levels of experience, from working professionals to students and hobbyists alike.
Participants in the game jam will be tasked with creating a game prototype in just 48 hours. While registration for the jam recently closed on August 2, audiences can still look forward to trying out the winning games at the first-ever Borneo Animation and Games Festival, happening at Kuching City Center from 19 – 23 August.
