‘Lost Castle 2’ Release Date Revealed at Triple-i Initiative Showcase 2026

Developer Hunter Studio has revealed that its hit beat ‘em up rogue-lite Lost Castle 2 will exit Steam Early Access and launch its full 1.0 version on June 11, 2026. To celebrate this, the game will be available for 20% off from April 9 to April 16 during the Triple-i Steam Sale.

The announcement was accompanied by a brand-new gameplay trailer showcasing the chaotic co-op combat, the exotic new environments, and epic boss fights that await when the full game drops. The trailer debuted at the recent Triple-i Initiative Showcase.

From Early Access to 1.0

The June 11 release marks the culmination of the “Phase 6” roadmap, delivering everything fans have been clamouring for. The 1.0 launch will include the climactic Final Story Ending, the brutally challenging Ethereal Nightmare 4 & 5 difficulty levels, and the long-awaited ability to unlock the Third Layer Resonance for Inscriptions — adding a new dimension to build-crafting.

  • True Nightmare: Tackle Ethereal Nightmare difficulties 4 and 5 for the ultimate test of skill.

  • Full Progression Polish: All out-of-match systems have been reworked and balanced based on a year of player feedback.
  • The Complete Arsenal: Every weapon, treasure, armor set, and hidden secret from Early Access.


Before the 1.0 siege begins, players can jump into the Hidden Mage Tower update —the final major content drop before launch. Available now, this update adds a secret level, new bosses,rebalanced single-handed weapons, and a revamped story unlock system.
