Krafton’s Better Ground Opens Applications For Young Malaysian Game Developers

Ready to build a game and take it to the global stage? Krafton’s Better Ground 2026 has opened applications for high school students aged 15 to 18 years in Malaysia — and participation is free!

Better Ground is a global student development program that gives students the opportunity to explore the digital gaming industry and potentially represent Malaysia in South Korea, alongside teams from South Korea, India, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Thailand.

This is more than a competition. It’s a chance to design and develop your own digital game, work on a real-world project with industry mentors, and build critical 21st-century skills such as creativity, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork.

The first place team will be fully sponsored to travel to South Korea and represent Malaysia to present their game at the global showcase. For more information, contact contact the Program Lead, Fazrini (fazrini@jamalaysia.org).
