Publisher GameChanger Studio and developer StarBullet Studio have launched a new demo for The Spirit Weaver, following an initial teaser released during Indonesia Game Day. The demo is currently available to play as part of the Steam Next Fest, happening from February 24 to March 3, 2026.
The Spirit Weaver was developed by StarBullet Studio, a collective of seven graduates from the Bandung Institute of Technology. It casts players as Alora, a Tarot reader summoned to the spirit realm to halt a mysterious threat known as The Entropy. However, Alora’s mission transcends saving lost souls; she must confront her own inner demons and an overwhelming sense of guilt stemming from her childhood.
“The first time I played the prototype for The Spirit Weaver was when I was grading it as a course assignment at the Faculty of Visual Arts and Design in the Bandung Institute of Technology. I immediately fell in love with the visuals and the Tarot theme, which is still quite rare in gaming. The team’s multiple backgrounds, combined with their curiosity, passion, and persistence, solidified my decision to be their publisher.” shared Riris Marpaung, CEO of GameChanger Studio.
